  11. There were some really great pieces of software written for amiga by companies
  12. which no longer exist or no longer have an interest in the amiga.
  13.  
  14. When it is no longer possible to get these programs through commercial outlets
  15. you would think that the companies could do us all a favour and upload the
  16. program to aminet. ie. put it in the public domain.
  17.  
  18. After all the hours that went into coding the software wouldn't it be good
  19. for someone to get some more use out of it when the program has been written
  20. off commercially?

  22. The Blue Ribbon Example on Compuserve courtesy of Microsoft is the kind of
  23. thing we are after. Bars&Pipes Pro 2.5 is one mega comprehensive package
  24. and now it is sitting there for a free d/l by CIS members.
